Today hosted Jerry Aversano along with Jerry (dad), Bob (dad), Rob (son), Lori and Tony for a fathers Day Weekend Striper trip. Got an early start an Eddie loaded the well up easily with Bunker. Tried chunking today with the intention of fishing through the blues to get the bass. Well the Stripers never bit for us this morning. The blues however were out in force. Simultaneous hook-ups 1-4 on at a time most of the morning and too many to keep count of. Jerry landed this 18# blue on the Boga which was the largest gator of the morning. All Blues were released.
Made a quick drop for Sea Bass to get the crew out of the inshore heave. The lief on the spot was not that good today with mainly shorts and only 1/2 dozen keepers making the box. A lot of catch and release today and some arm weary anglers.
