Pilot- fluke 7/3
« on: July 04, 2012, 09:36:04 AM »

Got the go ahead call from Paul so we pushed off at 4 after an early dismissal from work.  Netted a live well full of pnutz on the third throw.  Headed out to SHB to be greeted with a much stiffer wind then scheduled.  Paul puts the bead on the adult size so we idle the ZO along side the pod and the Percy is unleashed.  We keep a half dozen for strip and let the balance return to do their job.  Went on search for a wreck only to get blown out by the SSW.  A couple of shorts for our effort. Snuggled up on the SH beach area to find wind relief. Drifts were way fast.  Powering down stemmed it pretty good.  Spro dressed with strip bait and gulp teaser with peanuts delivered the action.  We ended up a little light putting 4 quality fish in the sin bin up to 22" one of them at 18".

Good couple of hours confirming fish are in an area I've yet to fish this year.
