Now he's looking to start a fist fight on the boardwalk?!

NJ is already the butt of jokes in the rest of the country.  This guy is doing nothing but perpetuating the "Joisey" stereotype.

Politics aside, it would be nice to have a governor that comports themselves with some dignity and treats their colleagues and constituents with respect, instead of acting like a spoiled, seventh grade bully.  nosmly

Who's Laughing from what I see hes popular out side and in NJ. Some see him as a bully others see him as one that takes no BS. willing to stand up to get the job done. 101.5 was just talking about this and I agree with the DJs. If you want to criticize me then criticize me. But if you do it on my off time and do it using profanity in front of my children you better be prepared to square off. I applaud his reaction and I think it was real. Not jersey shorish.

I don't personally like him. His budget cuts left my wife without a job and 80k in student loans. I do like his don't F with me attitude though

The simple truth is that we have a governor who, if he worked in the private sector, would either be fired for his actions or be forced to take anger management classes.

It would be nice to see him take the high road just once. ;)

With all due respect bucktail, his seemingly brutal honesty and frankness would serve him well in my industry. He has a tough job in a tough state during tough economic times. Would you prefer Corzine?

Brutal honesty and frankness are fine. Talking down to everyone and insulting those who do not agree with him are a different story. And I am not talking about this particular incident where he is 'defending'(?) his children's precious ears. I am talking about referring to others as SOBs, idiots, etc at his town hall meetings and in reference to members of the "other" party. If you do not agree with this guy or his thinking you are any of the above to him.  nosmly

He is nothing more than a typical bully. He must have been picked on a lot as he was growing up and now wants his paybacks.

His actions are not what a governor's should be.
