After a sweltering week and weekend, we will be able to start off the week and look ahead to normal summer temperatures for this area and overall lower humidity. Immediate coastal areas will see slightly lower highs and slightly higher lows, which is normal for this time of year and locations. On the water temperatures will also be normally cooler. There is still a chance of scattered or isolated showers and/or thunderstorms all week, however there is no widespread precipitation forecasted. Water conditions are rated good for the majority of the week for adjacent Coastal and Offshore Waters. Cautious conditions have been posted Wedensday Afternoon and Thursday all day for some Southern and Offshore Areas.
A cold front will continue to creep south Sunday Night. On Monday the front will be almost stalled out just south of the region. Several weak systems (Lows) are expected to move along this frontal boundary through most of the week before the front dissipates around Friday. High pressure will continue to build from the north and west across the upper Great Lakes and New England into next weekend.
