Yes Bucktail that is a very good Read and has with it Views and opinions of Industry supporters protecting their own interest. Just as in the 3 part where they state congress Meaning the US can not dictate where any of the oil goes after its drilled. because its a world market. and any restrictions on it would mean higher prices for The US, The dollars spent in the Billions for leases and Royalties to the US is also paced on the the consumer. Why is that a bit of BS. Why then can Alaska have in place contracts that they gain from their Oil. And everyone in that state profits. Years back The oil company's wanted to end it with a one time pay out it got voted down.
Everyone talks about offshore oil . What about the Land reserves , that the states would have some control, not like the Us Government as with off shore . And Al there are many refinery's in Nj. besides the one you mention. And they are Closing and not expanding. Its cheaper to export and bring it back with no environmental concerns or restrictions. Or TAXES Yes TAXES they show no profit in the USA. Is there danger in Handling  crude oil Yes have accidents happened yes Has Exon cleaned up and payed for the damages they caused in Alaska NO they have not. And If there were such dangers involved The Persian Gulf would be one Big OIL SLICK. I never even saw a oil sheen when I was there from one end to the other.
Its something that is out off control and there is no interests to change Business as usual. That.s why there are wars. I don't have the answers but am not blind to all the BS about it all. And with what Washington has turned into and the Free Trade - World market nothing will ever change.  Almost forgot The refinery's in the US refine sweet crude only and most of what comes out of the holes in the US are Not and need extra refining. we are not will to do,

Think you have a headache now with E-10?  Wait until E-15 and E-20!!!!   And YES, its on the way.

Think your O/B has problems with this mix, wait till your truck starts drinking E-15/20 in the not so distant future.......cat converters aint cheap.. thud

I haven't kept up with this.  Are there any engine manufacturers addressing this issue?  Are there motors that do well with this stuff?

It will/has affected everything related to fuel in cars already. Failed sensors, cats, gummed up injectors, etc. Auto fuel tanks that have bladders get destroyed by the stuff.  And thats newer cars/trucks! Just wait till your average Joe is fueling up his '78 F-150 with E-20 one day...what a mess!

The company I work for has already came out to the US govt and said their cars WONT run on E-20...the debate rages on..

First Not That tower its the old one at the abandoned plant all rusty and soon to till and fall killing 10000s of green Head flys cfzd hhppy
Now the fuel thing since I worked at Linden Assembly Plant. 35 years and did construction work in Esso  when they Blow up dam did I make money on the clock almost 24-7 then.  And I was around with the switch from leaded to Unleaded . It was no big deal. Engines were Carbs. and the vales Pinged and a lower compression. And they sold and still do a lead additive. Amoco always sold unleaded  slt The White Gas. and it sold with no problems people bragged that their car ran better and CLEANER. All outboards most only white gas and small engines at the time recommended  white gas ( Unleaded ) fcp But Now the corn gas I will call it, Got a big push from the Farmers. And Lobbyist. since many over seas markets for corn demanded lower prices, Remember how farmers were paid not to Grow Wheat and, Corn, Then there is winter blend in NJ rgmn Does this corn gas hurt or do harm It has to be 20 years more or less Pennsylvania had corn gas dam near 50% I was pulling a travel trailer at the time and thought what the heck. I filled up before leaving Lancaster PA. My 8 cly ford  had no power ran Like S**t could not make the hills on the PA turnpike. The first service area I had the Tank Drained and filled up with Reg gas.
Will it hurt the cars of today :headscra: most likely. That's what that little emblem on the rear of some cars say FLEX FUEL. Does yours  5hrug I have a 8 Cly 2012 Chevy Equinox. use REG. Gas with great Mileage, Don't mess with it  smk Another Fact On Gasoline its BS to use High test, unless your driving a very high compression engine, which there are far and few, The notion of I put a tank of high test now and then to Clean the engine  :headscra: nts rofla. then where does your gas come from  think its that brand on the sign  again  :headscra: nts rofla. Take the Bay Way Refinery or any others. that sell market gas, They have a filling station its called a rack at Bay Way its right at the exit of the refinery RT 9 North. you will see any Number of tankers lined up mostly at night less traffic for them their not trying to hide anything slt They fill up at any one of the many fuel line drops with the designated test of gas and blends  ??? they used to put dyes for ID. You will notice that not many if any tankers have a brand name on them  clp Ever wonder why there is some very cheap prices around including Costco They Spot Buy no Contract as a brand name station has, and they Pay cash on delivery but so do some other independents, Hess might be the only one that its their gas from there refinery and their trucks. That all started with one Guy a Home heating oil truck . Armada Hess.  chrz so corn gas is it here to stay  5hrug The car manufactures have a say but not that much anymore, Once you take a hand out you have little to say,
