Broke the inlet at 0730 with Glenn aka Scootma to some sporty conditions. Winds to about 20 knots and 3-5' swells. Fished the rubble piles on a fast drift needing 12oz to barely hold bottom. It took a bit but we finally got the skunk off the boat. We worked the piles all day - conditions really became nice as the day went on and the action picked up. We ended up with 20+ shorts (most just barely) 3 keepers 19" - 22", and 2 c biscuits (1 about 3#). There were some skates and a robin thrown in too. Had a 5' brown shark within 5' of the boat on their surface too.
Good day!
