Bingo Report 7/27/12
« on: July 27, 2012, 07:48:19 PM »
Headed out promply at 6 AM, a bit choppy on the run out to the mudhole, and first 2 to 3 hours you definatly needed your sea legs under you. Felt sorry for the few who spent the day as to say on the floor or calling Ralph most of the day, but seas laid down by 11 am or so and it was game on for awhile. Had 5 coworkers with me and everyone of them went home with a nice bag of fillets like I did. Turned out to be a great time out on the water.

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

That is definitely an understatement. I thought the captain was going to bust a blood vessel that day he was so mad.  hhppy thud cfzd

Nice bag of filets that you all went home with. What depth were you fishing in at this time of the year? How were the congers and did the gulp work better alone or mixed with clams?

I would love to do another one of these trips, but my freezer is still pretty full even though I am eating ling a couple of times a week. Can't complain about that though.  chrz

This is for you BigAl:  BINGO, MUDHOLE, CAPTAIN JIM.  HAHAHA  rofla smk fcp

Moved a couple of times at one point 140 feet of water, eels were not too bad yesterday, Capt. caught a Mahi that was swimming by and I saw 3 cod fish also.

Thanks for the fast answer.  140 feet is tolerable, it is when you hit the 200 foot mark that it kicks your ass after a few fish. Been there and done that.  TT^ rgmn
