Hospital crabbing...
« on: August 01, 2012, 03:01:29 PM »
Hit Red Bank behind the hospital with the boys for a few hours.

Pretty steady action, TONS of shorties but managed 10 keepers all over 5" and 2 hitting 7".

4 traps, bunker baits.  Traps didnt soak for long before they were being pulled....but thats what ya get with a pair of 10 yr olds!!

Started off nice and the rains came.  Dock cleared out but the boys refused to leave getting soaked and chasing short crab around the dock.  Finally had enough and soaked to the bone only to get home to sunshine!!!!!!  Figures!

BTW, storm runoff right next to the dock was plain NASTY.  Shame whats getting dumped in our waters everytime it rains.. rgmn
