Flat Fish n Evil Skys,,,,, 8-14-12
« on: August 14, 2012, 07:46:57 PM »
left da dock today with Orlando at 0530.... since we have covered most of the northern areas we decided to invade some territory waaaaaay south  ;D

After numerous drifts and bouncing around and with mixed results and seeing crazy storms on the machine out around Trenton and tracking to the shore we decided to work our way back to the home port.... on doing so we hit a few numbers on the
SGR with a few shorts coming on board...

found success on some rock piles between
asbury and the red church approx 3 miles out....

Oly and i pounded them pretty good keeping our 2 man limit out of approx 35 keepers decked, 7 of which went 4-6 pounds.... good amount of shorts also... Storms tracked down the beach so we waited for them to move through sandy hook and into Staten island b4 we packed it in and ran ahead of the next set of evil skys..... slt

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

first off how have you been feeling....hangin in there like the rest of us i hope... chrz

and i must say to all here that one of the best investments you can make, if your machine/gps on board has the capability, is the xm/sirus weather service... it has saved us numerous times from running into potential evil on the water.....

Nice Tom, and your right about the Sirius weather.  I don't have the machine for it but use the radarscope app on the iPhone while in range. t^
