Finally got a chance to splash since my trailer troubles. Down with the family in Seaside so decided to make an early morning run in the dark to the usual Weakfish haunts, come off the throttle to start some recon and the machine lights up like a Christmas Tree
! Ok I can deal with this. Game on 1st cast is punished by the old seatrout, with light spin tackle 6lb mono I'm in for the ride! 22" no tide runner but very respectable and healthy. Returned her only to hook up many more times till sun up and boat traffic shut em down. Beautiful sunrise and great morning, back on the trailer by 9:30 just in time to miss all the Yahoos. Nice to see the Weakies back in the bay
