Nice. I was thinking of that but, my rigging skills blow. What's the suggestion to rig them for umbrella use? I have several rigs that aren't rigged  :headscra:

Fred just get them --these work good on 3/4 to 3 ounce jig heads too--And if you have umpbrella rigs you will need extras--Also for rigging Striper Carolina rigs   t^

For an umbrella rig, use around an 8/0 long shank J hook ran into the nose and out belly.  First hold the hook next to the shad and mark where you want the point to  come out of the belly so the shank is straight and only the hook eye is showing. Run these on a four arm umbrella rig with 8 to 10" of leader material between each shad and the rig arm. On the center I like to run a larger shad with around a 30" leader. The center usually gets hit the most. You can also run a stretch 25 or 30 in the center to help keep the rig down without drail weights. If you use more then 5 shads total your increasing the Tangle factor.  To avoid that use shorter or no leaders at all on the extra shads like on a 9er's rig

whs  Use heavy leader and make sure you tie the knots correctly, Store bought umbrellas usually have crimps but a good knot works well, I use rigs like Eddie said I usually use a different color and bigger size on the trailing shad, I think it makes it look like a bigger fish chasing bait t^
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

whs,  pick up a crimper and crimp kit. It's a time saver and makes nice loops.
