I was thinking the same thing.  Trying to decide what to fish for this weekend...does not look like a good weekend for ocean fluking.

I'm feeling ya's.. been awful quite.. I'm bustin to get out there Fluking tomorrow.. but NOAA forecast is pretty bleak  rgmn

 S WINDS 15 TO 20 KT WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 KT. SEAS 5 TO 8 FT. SCATTERED TSTMS WITH A CHANCE OF SHOWERS IN THE AFTERNOON.

Bouyweather still shows a long period swell 4-5' long period swell..

Saturday 9/8
Morning
   
Light winds with a slight chop. Small long period swell.

Winds: SSW 9 to 12 knots
Seas: ESE 4 feet at 13 sec.
Afternoon
   
Breezy whitecapping conditions with moderate choppy seas. Small long period swell.
Winds: S 11 to 15 knots
Seas: ESE 4 feet at 13 sec.

So I'm still slightly on the fence.. but leaning hard to the backyard side..  nosmly sux to be too far away to see for myself.. be nice to hear some boots on the deck observations on what's cookin out there..

Should lay up tuesday into wed.....thats what they say anyway.

Right now it is looking like Thursday at best.  Wednesday could still be sloppy.  That all depends on the timing of the two storms out there.  Leslie has stalled twice now.  The quicker they get out of here, the quicker it will lay down!  It is too far out to really pinpoint next week already, especially with two storms driving the marine forecast.

Models seem to agree that Leslie will be due east off the NJ Coast around mid day Wednesday!
