Due to an electronic ignition repair Tom and I were an hour late this morning leaving our slip at Atlantic Highlands Marina at 8 AM. We ran out to the side of Sandy Hook Channel near #11 along with the fleet of party boats. It was drop and reel Sea Robins till we tired of them and moved to the beach with the outgoing tide, here more birds mixed with short Fluke as we drifted south. Near Gunnison beach the Fluke were getting bigger and soon we both caught two keepers each to 20½". The Bluefish were plentiful as we headed in around noon. Many schools of Bunker swam past bringing the yellow-eyed demons with them. Sea Robin strips worked well as Killies did also, the biggest Fluke fell for a long strip. Pete
