Weakies (9-17-12)

Hit the backwaters with Z and another buddy last night.  We all caught some weakfish up to the 18-20" range all on tiny bucktails tipped with some fresh bloodworms.  I wound up landing 6 and having a bunch come unbuttoned at the last minute.  Haven't pulled a weakfish in over 15 years.  Our other buddy pulled a way short bass as well.  Felt good to get out and crank on some life as I haven't been fishing much at all lately.

Been catching stray weaks on gulp ,while fishing for fluke .They are making a come back .Couple more years and it should be a good fishery .Caught a fluke a couple weeks back ,that was gorged with small weaks .

Great night, your forgetting I slayed the seabass in the 4-8" range ;D  and add some spot into the mix. Hopefully we get to do it again if this blow doesn't shut it down.
