LS4 Fluke Report
« on: September 22, 2012, 09:09:31 PM »
Went out Friday with a boat load of peanut bunker and smelts.  Beautiful ride out, flat as can be, until we hit the inlet.  Bouncy ride out.  Drifted for about an hour.  It was so choppy, I couldn't even tie a knot or walk without falling over.  While sitting down, the swells looked like they were going to collaps over the boat.

Both Uncle Luna and myself got a little weezy and decided to head in with only catching 1 shore, 1 skate.

Went to a local crabbing spot with a skunk with the crabs.  Decided to at least catch some snappers.  Well we got those, 25 to be exact up to 3 lbs which surprised me being that far inland.  All for all, it was an OK day.

Also, while snapper fishing, I hooked 2 of the smallest fluke ever on a hook.

tough conditions
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Can't seem to recall ever sitting on a boat when you came down from one swell and were looking up and all you see is the next one lol.

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.
