Transome wood replacement
« on: September 26, 2012, 08:37:17 PM »
Was wondering if anyone has ever changed the wood on an aluminum row boats transome?   I gutted out the old one and was wondering what kind of waterproof glue I can use to bond the two pieces of plywood together. It is for a 16ft open row boat and only gets a 9.9hp rowboat that I want to start upgrading the transome and build a floor and install bilge pump

gorilla glue
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.
