THE NEW MOHAWK... CAPT CHRIS picked up the boat from pt.lookout new york, from Capt.Dennis Kanyuk, the boats name was, Princess Marie.. the boat is slow, with bench seating..

He has a good reputation but I'm not sure what gave him the reputation. He really dosen't work that hard, most days he goes to the red church rock pile and just jockeys the boat with his 2 anchor lines. 5hrug

My problem with him is his favoritism towards his regulars and their "your on my boat" type of attitude. I get the special treatment of regulars but some of things I witnessed we're enough for me to say no more. Plus the old boat couldn't be any more of a slow piece of chit.  And let's not even get into his run in with F&G a while back.

I have similar feelings towards that donkey of a capt on the Capt Cal. Had one of his mates mug a 8lb + fish out hole I was working while the capt cheered him on from above my head. Was no casual friendly mugging either. I could smell the guy's shampoo (or lack of) as he steadily pushed back into me.  One and done on that boat for me.

I experinced the click that fishes his boat also at first I thought it was just me.
But if we booked the whole boat we would'nt have that problem

i wasnt saying to book him just that some boats are up and running the jamaica is running aswell

He has been my favorite open boat to fish on for tog for the past few years. Always a friendly crowd, great capt and crew that treat everyone with respect, and he puts you on fish
