Knots or crimps?
« on: October 19, 2012, 04:06:34 PM »
what do you prefer to use with mono/flouro lines? For me it depends on line size. Larger, I got with crimps. Smaller, I'll tie some knots.

I'm  With you on that one. Anything mono or fluorocarbon 100lb or larger is a crimp. So much easier to do.

Maybe someone else has a different opinion. ovrbt

Eddie,
You are in charge of learning the knot. You can be the knot man on the Tog trip.

I just don't have the patience for that one. lol.  If I needed something like that, I'd just make a bimini twist with braided line. Lol

Yep, anything above 80 gets a crimp.

Chuck, at Tournament Cable, taught us the Australian Braid when he held a special NJSWF seminar/open house for us at his shop last year. Cool knot. Rod supplied the pizza and beer. TT^  chrz
I've spent most of my life fishing, the rest I've just wasted     <'((((><
