So im hearing alot of boats are packing it in for their canyon season this weekend..they wont get out there any way....im just putting it out there....maybe we want to reconsider such a late date in October next year?
Maybe 3rd or last weekend in Sept?......maybe be able to get on the Gambler in Sept?.......
My wifes birthday is on Sept 29th and i will be on the trip if that is the decision made..... so no sob stories please......

I heard the same thing. The tuna fishing has been going downhill. Thinking maybe we should look at the weekend of the 28th. That's a week before we went this year.  pcrn

Talked to some capt and it depends on when fluke season ends. They would rather fluke fish then tuna fish.

That can be calling it tight then huh...Its like we never want the Fluke season to end, but cant wait for the other seasons to start jumping either. I am up for any date Rick...I agree that Carl knows he stuff!!! But soooooooooo do you!!!!! ;) ;)

I'm in for any date you get Rick. Its so far in advance I'll move around any commitments that come up in order to fish.

And if you guys pick a date, and I catch nothing, I'll have someone else to blame... ;D
