since I keep seeing contradicting forecasts.  I'll wait a few more days.  My generator is ready either way.  Just took care of that in case it needed service.  Only thing that is for sure, is I will be out once the storms blows by or through

It doesnt look like I'll get to the dock beforehand to pull my boat. I hope the new battery I installed keeps up with the rain and the ropes hold.....

How long would a storm like Sandy effect fishing in the coastal areas before and after passage? This storm could really put a curve in striper fishing for a while. Any experienced fishermen with hurricanes?

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

I've got help lined up (thanks, Chris). I am going to pull it tomorrow. I was in the process of updating the lights on the trailer. I guess magnet temp ones will need to work for now.

Hey Rick,
I went to the Lowe's by us yesterday to get a generator switch over panel and some batteries, etc.
Was talking with one of the managers and he told me they sold 30 generators between wed evening and thursday at noon. Yikes!  cfzd
Hopefully it's not as bad as they're predicting.

Stay safe.

Im deep on the lagoon, so hopefully I will be safe there.  Last September it survived that huge one we had Labor Day weekend.

I actually dropped my trailer off 2 days ago to get a safety check on it, so I am trailerless anyway.. Just crossing my fingers.  I am more concerned with the extreme tide change more then the wind.
Fish out of Toms River NJ.
Call Nick for open boat, 973-417-5756, or on Channel 68.
