Friday, 26th bass and blues
« on: October 26, 2012, 08:23:47 PM »
Headed out0 of the Highlands today headed south looking for marks and birds.  Started trolling around the bridge picking up plenty of blues...lots of double headers on the umbrella rig and even had one tri with some big 12 to 15 lbers....that was a serious mess to untangle as it also picked up my stretch 25.....later met up with the fleet at the church and saw much of the same...mostly blues....did head towards the beach north of the church when we picked our only two bass on a double header on the white and blue shad umbrella rig, one nice 34 and a shorter 26....that was it..beautiful day on the water but was really expecting more bass after the recent reports.

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

The secret to catching fish is, to fish, where the fish are.
