Manasquan inlet open to the public?
« on: November 18, 2012, 09:25:56 AM »
Hi folks, first let me say that I hope everyone is doing OK post-Sandy. My thoughts and prayers go out to those who are having difficulties.

I'm in a cast (broken wrist since Oct 6), and won't be able to fish for a bit, but was thinking of taking a ride down to Manasquan inlet next weekend just to look at the water, re-connect and relax. Is it accessible?

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

My wife is a teacher in Manasquan and school will start this Monday.  She is a five minute walk from the inlet but she emotionally did not want to see it.  As of Friday there was furniture on some of the streets.  The water table seem to be high.  That's all I can offer.

Cheers,

Mike

Be very clear on which "mudhole" you are asking about, there are several. Also what species are you looking for.
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
