boats total loss
« on: November 21, 2012, 10:45:42 AM »
HI everyone, I'm sure alot of guys lost their boats, and I'm looking for some advice for my new boat. Mine had water in the engines, and bad hull damage and the insurance co. is totalling it. I had a 2000 sportcraft 3010 great fishing boat, good for cruising w/ family, but my wife has fallin' in love with a 2006 Silverton 34 convertible. This one does have rod holders and a fish box...I guess I could add some tackle boxes and a live well. I do need the cabin room ..kids....wife..I've seen good reviews for it as a family boat. Just hope it holds up in fall when I'm fishing.

Gas, it has the 6.0 crusaders, the boat is in Maryland I'll have to bring it up in the spring, but it looks exactly like that boat . I'll have to add rocket launchers and some tackle storage. Boat has100 hours on it. What do you think? I don't think the range is great, 286 gallons of fuel. But I don't tuna fish that much anyway, strippers and fluke mostly.
