Oil prices are based on the world market not just here.  We EXPORT over 400,000 barrels of refined products a month. Unless the government takes over the oil companies or a cheap source of energy is discovered it is what it is.
Reckless 400.000 export a MONTH is a drop in the Bucket .Where you got that from 5hrug may be wrong. No Attack here. The Facts in 2004 The USA consumed 20.000.000 Barrels a day Yes Millions. At that time a super tanker carried 2 Million Barrels of imported oil. that took 10 tankers to do the job.
( Wikipedia search Supper Tankers ) The numbers are mind boggling for today.  and not just for oil but on how many tankers are in Play and Not One Built in The USA. Remember I mentioned Alaska . Not one drop of that OIL is refined in the USA. WE do not have any refinery's that can do it. why  5hrug in plane English its Crappy oil. Japan refines it and we import the refined products.  We only do Sweet Crude Oil Plus when was the last refinery built in the USA. To many Regulations prevent That enter Washington again. They are only closing. A couple in New Jersey.
world market has influence on pricing But again Wall Street is most to blame with speculation, spot markets,  Remember the gas embargo and gas lines  smk
and a so called Oil shortage  smk BS. again. why were there tankers lined up off just Jersey shore full and were kept out.  5hrug It was NJ fishermen that brought that to light when they saw them just sitting there. Like the sugar shortage and warehouses being built In Port Newark as fast as they could to store it and squeeze the market. Coffee. another The list goes on and on. The big guys and the US Government work together. The last Bail outs proved that. The Auto companies were a Vote maker nothing more. And they paid back but not the Banks. This could go on and on with no results but to let off some steam. Anyone watching whats going on over seas with Riots over most of the same issues , could it be Coming attractions of whats to come here.  :headscra: time will tell and that's a short time, The middle east is setting the stage.

Maybe it's all a part of the Illuminati's master plan.

Good one. Had to look that up. t^

How did a post of disgust for an overused fiscal budget crisis term end up as a discussion of energy? 5hrug

HIS NAME IS MIKE.
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
