Friday 11/30 we had Ed, Ken, Pete, Keith, Bill and Joe Tuna Tales out for blackfish. Right away on the way to the grounds I noticed the south current and no wind, yay. Got set up in terrible conditions and it was a slowwwwww pick. Kept sliding off the piece due to us pretty much drift with the anchors slack. Made about 1,000 shimmies and wiggles. Just couldn't get the bite started today. Finally the wind switched east and south current died, we were able to spread the anchors. Had a very slow pick once again. Fished a long day with a ton of shorts, a couple nice ling and 17 keeper blackfish. Stopped on some birds on the way home and the bait was loaded. Managed to jig 1 short striper and called it quits. Tomorrows another day. Thanks guys.
SORRY NO PICS TODAY.
