Capt Don Jr was back at it smoking them today!! Better have your heat shields on cause the dude is absolutely on fire. The trip up the river was a crawl in the fog and the electronics gave us the view we needed to make the turn. Kooz and Big Tom W. made the balance of the crew and we had a nice run to the drop zone through the slow roll. We were on our piece of the rock with a couple other freindly ones from the neighborhood laying the line nicely. Soon as the baits hit the water, we (uh, Donnie) was hooked up. Greenies got assaulted immediately. We stayed put but were off the mark a bit and began tighten things up but the hook slipped and we had to reset. Good thing. Repositioned and the pounding commenced. Donnie, Kooz taking turns. Big Tom, the guys about the size of CHEWBACKA, swings away at a couple of foul balls. I've got a pick going with the Lami. The tank is getting loaded. Guys are jacked. New mix on the IPOD cranking, Roasted Peppers and Provolone with a side of Tog Chowda. It's all good for the soul.
Heck of a good bite and great crew. A couple of real good fish get pinned by Don, Kooz and myself. Kooz even broke out a new stick we haven't seen yet "Stubby Wilson" after giving "Burple" a rest. Chewy had a good time with his cue stick and had a nice selection of Blackies. We had a boat limit just before noon and got into the release mode. Don, I'm pretty sure put a dozen together himself. Nice work
A couple of pics!
