I think I may have broke my sons foot last night getting him out of the van. Going to go get some Xrays now.
Boy do I feel horrible......

Awww Carl.... :-\ accidents happen, that's why they are called accidents. You don't know for sure its broken; it might just be a nasty sprain. Your lil buggers are strong & tough like their Daddy. I know how you feel. When my daughter was a toddler I closed a car door on her finger. It wasn't broken or anything, but I still feel so bad even when I think of it now, 20 years later.

Yes....he slid his foot back in the opening while i was closing the door....ofcourse its the time he was in his jammys and didnt have shoes on to protect his feet.

Hope the little guy is ok. That is why they call it an accident and not a meant to do. All wounds heal ( i can attest to that) and kids rebound fantastically. Hope all is well and happy new year.
