started out sat am with NW winds 25 sh.. decided to try something different.. fished from 70 ft to 90 foot.. action around the boat.. shorts and keepers..Mr. made his appearance once again.. a 17.1 lb blackfish, weighed at old inlet tackle.. fish was caught by Dr. Ben from Maryland.. a couple of limits were had and some with none..
sun light WSW winds.. decided to try shallow.. anchored in 48 ft and had bites immed.. they were centered around only 5 guys in one section.. tried it for a half hour and had 7 or 8 keepers and load of shorts.. moved to a larger piece...we wound up fishing to 100 ft.. we had life everywhere we fished.. high hook was Joe lee with 7 fish only keeping his legal limit.. he won the pool with a 13.1 lb blackfish..
Ralf had a 9 1/2 lb for second place.. several guys once again had their personnel best.. bites were real not just the scratchy bite we had..green crabs outfished the whites..
we will be back at it on Fri, sat and sun..
