Another roller coaster of a week with chances of snow and rain on and off all week. Snow and rain chances will be mainly Monday Night, Tuesday Night, Thursday Night and Friday. Monday Night has the highest chances of snow accumulating to an inch or so with Thursday Night and Friday having the best chance for a wintry mix, snow and rain. Temperatures will be seasonal in the 30's with highs even reaching into the 40's some days with lows in the 20's most of the week. Water conditions will be cautious Inshore to Midshore for Monday and into Tuesday for southern locations with winds to 25 knots and seas 3-4 feet. Midshore to Offshore could see gale force winds to 40 knots and seas to 6 feet on Monday into Tuesday. Small Craft Advisories will be in effect all day Monday for all locations and into Tuesday for southern locations, however, it is a possibility that winds and seas will lay down tomorrow cancelling any SCA's. The remainder of the week water conditions should be good for all locations. There is a possibility Wednesday Afternoon could see some gustier winds, cautious seas and SCA's as well as Friday. Surf conditions will be normal all week with 0-2 and then 1-2 foot wave heights later in the week. Winds will be predominantly out of the west changing from northwest and southwest through the week
An intensifying low pressure system southeast of Cape Cod will move off into the Canadian Maritimes on Monday. A pair of Clipper low pressure systems will move from the Northern Plains and pass through or close to our area on Monday and Tuesday Nights. High pressure will then build across the area late Wednesday into Thursday. A front will then affect the region on Friday.
