How about in Alaska??? I hear the fisherman up there all carry. 5hrug
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Strike 2 for the spell check

Silencer

Suppressors (ie silencers)  are legal for any citizen with a clean background to own in 37 states. Alaska is one of them. It is not too difficult to own a suppressor at all. You need to get permission from a local Chief Law Enforcement Officer (CLEO) and pay a $200 tax (Federal Tax Stamp), then fill out a few forms and have a background check done. Legal in PA as well.....same process for legally buying a machine gun. In no states are they a legal, off the shelf purchase. They are regulated by the Federal Govt, and require jumping thru some hoops (more so than just purchasing a firearm. Still, not that difficult though.

I have a friend that collects H&K MP5s I think hes up to 6 or 7 now. One of them is suppressed....Its a real (pardon the pun) blast to shoot. He also has an original Thompson sub machine gun, a Sten and a full auto M4.   Full auto shooting is a rich mans game. 1 MP5 can run u up to $20K.

Mballey the bad spelling is 5hrug but seems the point gets across ok. The type on my desk top and lap top is much larger and the spell check is better no perfect. On the I Pad it's very small , but just learned to tap and in large. It's a ball using it. The face time with grand kids and buddy's in Alaska  is great.    He has a Thomson 45tommy gun full auto also like you mentioned $$$$$$$ I shot a 50 cal there 2  years ago talk about cost per round. He is a gun collector with names many have never heard of some worth 6 figures. He deals thru. A licensed dealer collector.   Since only a few are bothered with my spelling they will have to deal with it I could care less. Bill
