Saturday will be the continuance of the Winter Storm/Nor'Easter that will affect our areas starting on Friday. By Saturday Night the storm conditions will begin to clear out leading to sunny skies and dry conditions on Sunday. Temperatures will be average to above average with highs in the upper 30's and low 40s' with low temperatures down into the teens Saturday Night and low 30's on Sunday. Water conditions will be hazardous on Saturday will Gale and Storm Force winds to 55+mph and seas to 15 feet. Winds and seas will begin subsiding Saturday Night making water conditions on Sunday good for almost all locations. These water forecasts are VERY dependent on the timing and movement of this storm system, so a change in just a few hours either way could definitely change water conditions for either or both days. Surf conditions will be dangerous on Saturday with high, rough surf and gale force winds out of the east. Wave heights on Saturday could easily see 6-8 feet in the surf causing beach erosion as well as astronomically higher tides coupled with a 2-3 foot storm surge. By Sunday surf conditions should return to normal to moderate with wave heights 1-2 feet and winds out of the northwest, provided there is not any longstanding flooding or damage.

A strong low pressure system will intensify off the coast before moving further to the northeast on Saturday. High pressure will then build into the area on Sunday
