Deja-vu this weekend, as Friday and Saturday will be wet, with the possibility of a wintry-mix and snow across more northern areas of NJ. North of NJ, will see a significant Winter Storm with upwards of 24 inches of snow possible across parts of New England. Sunday may start off wet, but will clear by the afternoon leading the way for sunshine and slightly above normal temperatures. Highs for the weekend will reach mid to upper 40's with lows down into the mid 30's and then mid to upper 20's. Water conditions will not improve at all, though, with Small Craft Advisories likely for all locations with some wind gusts in the Gale Force range and seas to 9 feet midshore to offshore. Surf conditions will be normal to moderate with average of 1-2 feet with some gustier easterly winds on Saturday, changing over to northwesterly winds on Sunday with occasional 3-4 foot waves.
Low pressure over the Upper Great Lakes will influence a second low forming over the Carolinas. This second low will move northeast and affect the area Friday through Sunday.
