Great article!  It makes complete sense, scientifically.  I wish he would have gone into more depth about how other weather/ocean factors affect marine life.  Guess I will have to read his book ;D.

 Until the author can "Talk to the fishes" its all speculation, and a theory.

 I have seen tons of things that look good on paper, but fail horribly in the real world.

 So with that,, I will continue to believe that a dropping barometer turns on the fish bite. I have personally seen it numerous times to believe else wise.  But thats just me.

He makes the point that, "(Barometric pressure) certainly is one of the ingredients in the overall weather process, but temperature, cloud cover, wind direction and speed, and humidity can also affect fishing conditions."

What I got from this article is that although the barometer might be changing, the other changes that coincide with that change are more important than the pressure itself.
