Went out on a bottom fishin trip for porgy and seabass on oceanexplorer. My friends nick named me "bergall master" because thats all i caught all day!!!!
Around 2 pm I get somthing really heavy, thinking it was nice seabass or black fish I was surprised to see a fluke come to the surface. This was the biggest fluke I have ever caught in my life!!! on a no.1 porgy hook nonetheless. It had to be at least 25-27 inches and pretty fat sucker.
I couldnt even take a picture of it because the mate unhooked it and before i could even say hold on, the fish was back in the water!
I guess thats my luck, I only caught handful of keepers during the season, now I catch my biggest one ever and it has to go back and i couldnt even take a picture of it!! After that incident i caught few more bergalls and we headed back in.
