The first week of April will bring slightly below average temperatures. Monday could bring some chances of rain, though those chances will decrease as the day progresses. The middle of the week will be dry with rain chances returning on Thursday and Friday. High temperatures will range from the 60's on Monday down into the 40's mid week and back up into the 50's towards the end of the week. Overnight lows will vary from the 30's down into the mid to upper 20's, still and even cooler inland. Water temperatures are slowly rising, up to low to mid 40's for all adjacent coastal waters. Water conditions will vary by location with possible Small Craft Advisories through Wednesday and then returning for Friday. Friday could bring a moderate coastal low with gale force winds and high seas, especially into the evening and overnight hours. Surf conditions will be normal all week with 0-2 and 1-2 foot waves. Late Friday could definitely bring some moderate to high surf conditions with gusty winds and high, rough surf.
A cold front on Monday will follow a low pressure area and frontal boundary passing through the region over the weekend. A secondary cold front will follow for late Tuesday. High pressure will then build toward the area slowly and reach the eastern seaboard on Thursday. Low pressure may lift from the Gulf Coast Region into the Carolinas coast around Friday and continue northeast.
