Luna Sea SATURDAY REPORT
« on: September 23, 2007, 08:24:24 AM »
Started out in the harbor netting peanuts.  They were all over the place, but to my surprise, very large bluefish were all over the peanuts.  I netted much more then what I need at the boat slip, but by the time I got to the gas dock, huge bluefish were totally jumping out of the water crashing on the peanuts.  The entire body of the bluefish were coming out of the water and the peanuts kept running around.  It was crazy to actually catch close to 10 lb bluefish right by the sailboats in the AH marina.

Next stop, reach 19 driving in very heavy fog.  NOTHING except a few keeper porgies.  And I can guarantee you that nobody else was catching anything either.  CAPT. BOB, very nice to finally meet  you.  I will see you again out there, hopefully with better luck.

NEXT, Rocks for C bass.... Caught tons, drop and real with a few nice size fish.

So, the total for the day was, bluefish, all you wanted...  about 4 porgie, and keeping about 10 Seabass and threw back hundreds of others.

I thought it was going to be sunny and 85, but the weatherman was wrong again.

OH, UNCLE LUNA had the biggest catch of the day... All the rocks you wanted... Snag after Snag..  ;D

Very Funny Nephew as I recall you were not
doing so bad on those rocks either. It was
well worth it though most sea bass I ever caught in one day rig after rig no matter what
kind was used. After I ran out oif sea bass rigs I was using weak fish rigs and they were
pulling them up one after another.
Great day fishing fun was had by all.
