Glenwood lake Largemouth
« on: April 28, 2013, 07:37:03 PM »
The company i work for is building a deck and ramp at this house in Bloomingdale, NJ. This house is located on a private lake called Glenwood Lake. So needless to say my first question to the homeowner was " Do you mind if we fish around your house on lunch break." The answer was yes. So the next day i brought my pole. When lunch came around i threw on a Yum blue woolie bug with a weight about it. Second cast BAM something nails my line. Ended up being close to 2lb bass. My two co workers each caught a largemouth about the same size. The next day we went to the other side of the house on their dock. We noticed a submerged tree. I threw on a Yum crawfish and begin casting at the tree. Right away i nail a 2lb largemouth. My buddy next to me is picking apart every pickerel by the tree. He pulled up the biggest one i Have ever seen. By the end of break i had a total of four Large mouth. Three of them were around 3lbs. Man were these fish fat. Its only been two days and the fishing is great and hopefully will get even better!!!!
Why can't we fish 5 days a week and work 2!
