Anyone see the 22 degree halo (aka sun halo, sundog, etc...) today?

COOOOOOOOOOOOL MATT!!!!!!!!!  msfsh Great photos! t^ Nope  nosmly not today but I have seen them or something like them lot's of time when fishing and when I am lying on the beach. More on the beach.  ;D What causes it the humidity in the air?

COOOOOOOOOOOOL What causes it the humidity in the air?   

Ice crystals in the atmosphere/clouds and the sun (light) reflecting at just the right angle.

Yes, it from cirrus clouds, specifically!  They are high up in the atmosphere and are made mostly of ice crystals.

I did see the ice jams overflowing onto the houses.  Pretty crazy and now it is in the upper 90's there today!  Brings a new meaning to "Iceberg right [in bed]!"

I saw this 2 years ago when i was in Florida I have a pic of it somewhere I thought it was Aliens
