5/16 Striper Attempt.....but sang the Blues
« on: May 16, 2013, 07:16:02 PM »
Had Matt Bailey and company on board today. Left early to catch the end of the tide. Set up with both clams and bunker and had action right away...couple missed fish and we started coming tight on the demons. Made a move to get away from them and set up on great reads but no love. Went on the troll and had the demons again. Back on the anchor and we came tight on the right kind but the hook pulled. Frustrating day for the cappy....but the crew enjoyed the bent rods!
Thanks gang!....see ya for some Fluke and Sea Bass!

I have 2 exhausted kids in on the couch fast asleep (they never made it to their bedrooms)

Had a fantastic day today Carl.... the kids had an absolute blast!!..Did you notice the smiles on their faces....looked like they had shoved a handfull of Chiclets into their mouths I saw so much toothy smiling..thats what today was all about... you really made the day of 2 great kids that really deserved a day out on the water. I cant begin to thank you enough.

And my son learned a great life lesson, whenever a girl is present on the boat, she will catch the biggest fish (and continue to rub it in all the way home  rofla)

Thanks again bud, had a great time today, see you when the flat ones start showing up  chrz
