Sea Hawk Party Boat Weekend FLUKE Report
« on: May 19, 2013, 07:28:14 PM »
5/18- It felt good to be out again catching some fluke. First drift we didn't move so we headed down the beach to catch the start of the incoming. We pick at keepers and shorts most of the morning. In the afternoon the bite turn off so we head back in the bay to the west and found a few nice fish. Biggest one went around 5lbs but guy was not in the pool. Pool fish was around 4.5lbs. My mates said we had between 40 to 45 keepers which is a good start to the season. We are sailing OPEN BOAT everyday this week for fluke 7:30am to 2:30pm. Afternoon fluke trips start tomorrow OPEN BOAT for those trips this week will be tomorrow at 4pm to 8:30pm Wed 5pm to 9pm and then next Sat and Sun again at 4pm. See you onboard. Thanks Capt.Mike.

5/19- Rainy and windy but we got out today and headed right to where we had some fish yesterday but we had a stronger south wind and the fishing was off. We had a couple of ok drifts down the beach but the drift got to fast with the wind and tide. We came back to the west where we had our to biggest fish yesterday to find a slow pick of keepers and some shorts. High hook had 3 keepers and pool fish went around 4lbs. We are sailing OPEN BOAT tomorrow at 7:30am. See you onboard. Thanks Capt.Mike
