Jumped on a non-sponsor boat for some fluking today. Morning was really nice when the sun was out but then in started to cloud up and about 11 it started to drizzle. Most of the moring we fished inside close to the hook on the channel edge. I pick two at 18" and another 5 shorts. Drift was slow, with not much wind. At slacked tide it it was dead. Capt poked around here and there for a while then took a quick ride just outside the hook next to the beach. I picked another @ 22" and a 19" plus some more shorts and lots of sundials. I bucktails all day. I think the bait draggers did better when we where inside and the bucktails did better when we were outside.
I ran into Capt Jack of the Bingo and got the low-down on what is going on. We should have a nice tog platform this fall.
