Got a phone call late last night from an old friend tells me he and his Brother are heading out on the Yaks in the morning wondered how things were going out there. Of course the brain goes into overdrive and I offer how bout heading out on my boat and a plan is hatched. Jason and Brian meet me at the dock at the top of the tide and we set out to the area I fished Tuesday. Wind was light SE and of course tide was getting ready to head out. First stop was a disappointment so we moved to the East a bit, wind beginning to build right up against the tide but we found em! It was work all morning but the Boys did a nice job with jigs an bait and managed a nice bag of Flatties. Wind got her ass up pretty good at the end but fortunately it was a following sea on the way in. Spotted a lot of bait and fish rolling on the SI side and the Bluefish were demons today!
