Certain knot for fluke/bucktails?

So, I'm terrible with knot tying, and am the type to need to do it 20 times before I get it, just showing me in real life, I'll forget it. I was wondering whats the name of the bucktail knot where you have the single hook/teaser bucktail on top, and the larger bucktail on the bottom? Figured to then look it from there and practice tying.

With a 2 to 3 foot leader I tie my BUCKTAIL on with a Palomar, then about 10 to 12 inches above I tie a dropper loop for my teaser. Hope that helps not really sure what you were looking for with your question

   My way is basically the same, although with some slight variations.

Those being:

1.  I tie on a snap to facilitate changing jigs (using a Palomar or a clinch knot).
2.  I like to use a Bear Paw instead of a dropper loop so I can change the height of my teaser without retying.

good question too. for fluking my go-to lots of times is bucktail on bottom (I use improved clinch usually for all) and a12" long teaser above it like 18". Most times I only use a hook w/ a strip; no upper BT. Amazing how many fish come on the teaser.

I find that when I use 2 BTs, the tangling is much more of an issue, even with the upper on heavier mono than the main leader.

Skip, I have used them. They can slide on the leader but for the most part they do stay put. It's the lazy man's dropper loop.  Right Bob 

The biggest advantage is that you can take the bear claw off and have a straight one piece leader again.

They are two pieces which connect together.  They will, sometimes slide down the leader on a good fish, but I've never had one come off.

They've been around for a long time.  My next door neighbor turned me on to them over 20 years ago.  I only use them for fluking.
