With high pressure dominating the area the weekend will be dry and sunny through Sunday Night.  Sunday Evening will have a lower chance of showers and thunderstorms, mostly scattered or isolated. High temperatures this weekend will warm up into the low 80's with lows into low to middle 60's.  Water conditions will be good for all locations through Sunday later afternoon when cautious conditions bordering on Small Craft Advisory criteria could occur.  Winds would be just above 20 knots and seas to 4 feet at 5 seconds due to a southerly swell.  Water temperatures are holding at upper 60's and lower 70's for rivers and bays and low to mid 60's for ocean waters.  Surf conditions will be Normal to Moderate with mostly 1-2 and 2-3 foot waves with NW & SW winds to 20 knots.

The area of low pressure will move to the northeast across the area tonight with an associated cold front.  High pressure will then move in from the northwest later Friday and Saturday.  High pressure will stay through the beginning of next week.

Tropics are quiet and no severe weather is expected through the weekend.

Next week will start off with chances of rain with a Low and associated cold front moving through.  By Wednesday conditions should be dry and sunny.  Temperatures will make it into the low to mid 80's and overnight lows into the low to mid 60's.  Water conditions look good Inshore so far and Midshore to Offshore is good except for Monday.  Surf conditions look Normal/Low to slightly Moderate with 1-2 and 2-3 foot waves with winds predominantly out of the west switching to the north later in the week.

I apologize...I hope everyone saw this who was looking.  I had the title mislabeled rgmn  fcp smk!

Anyway, today looks like a great day.  Not a blip on the radar, clouds are keeping to the west, air is much drier, so lower humidity.  Temperatures will make it into the low 80's inland with mid to upper 70's along/on the water with overnight lows into the low 60's.  Flood Warning still for a couple of Northern NJ counties due to river and stream flooding.  Other than that, there is not an Advisory, Watch or Warning.  Water conditions have cleared up very nicely, even Midshore to Offshore.  Inshore water conditions have a calm winds out of the NW/WNW at 10 knots or so with seas 2 feet at 8 seconds.  Midshore to Offshore NW wind to 15 knots with seas 4 feet at 8 seconds.  Water temperatures dropped a few degrees.  Surf conditions are normal with Low Risk for rip currents today and waves 2-3 feet with West winds around 10 knots.  UV Index Very High at 9/10.

It looks like it will continue to be a great day today.  Father's Day looks unchanged for the forecast outlook.

Enjoy the day and have a great weekend!

Another front is approaching from the west bringing clouds and some scattered, short, showers over parts of NJ.  This will continue throughout the day before becoming more widely scattered showers and thunderstorms during the overnight.  Temperatures will be in the low to mid 80's inland and mid to upper 70's along/on the water.  Overnight lows only into the upper 60's with more humid air moving in before drier air arrives midweek.  Water conditions are good right now, with a light S/SW wind at 5-10 knots and seas 2 feet at 8 seconds.  Conditions will begin to deteriorate in the afternoon to later afternoon for all locations.  NWS PHI/NYC has issued Small Craft Advisories for all coastal ocean waters effective at 2PM through 6AM Monday Morning.  Surf conditions are normal with a Low Risk of rip currents with SW winds 10-15 knots and wave heights 2-3 feet.  This could increase to Moderate by afternoon.  UV Index is Low at 2/10.

Have a great day and Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there!

Complete Week Outlook upcoming!
