Kayak Fluke Fishing
« on: June 24, 2013, 12:23:03 PM »
So i went out on saturday morning as the tide was in. I went to the spy house to launch and it was not a bad place to launch from, i went ot he left when heading out and found some other kayak fisherman out there, They had a ton of stuff on there yaks, thought i had seen a tv  rofla.

So after about a hour of drifting and no hits i paddled out to the end of the amunition pier and drifted back toward land and i found the fluke. (Thanks BigAL13). The wind died down and i was not drifting or moving. I sat the pole in the holder and paddled slowly, The action picked up again and i caught about 13 fluke biggest one was 17.0 fat as heck. released to grow bigger, i did loose two bucktails to the bottom. time to buy new ones, (FROM WHO ON THIS FORUM SELLS THEM)

Great day of fishing again.
Dale
Thank you everyone who has helped me in this new idea of EXTREME FISHING, clp clp clp

Nice going Dale.  I usually try to stay away from the beach and the water as much as I can on the weekends.  It was so crowded at the launch on IBSP that Lil now see's why I don't like going.

I am lucky enough to live down here so I usually go early mornings or evenings.  There is no one around.

Happy Catching

t^ Glad you found some action
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Nice try Dale.  It is way too hot for me to venture out.  We had a heat index of 111 today and 110 yesterday not good.
