Mystery Solved
« on: June 28, 2013, 03:17:31 PM »
Recently I started targeting larger catfish at a local pond that's loaded with small cats. I would catch a small bluegill or golden shiner and liveline him out on the bottom. I have yet to catch a fish like this and whenever I check my live bait, it would be gone. I was used to crabs eating bait in saltwater but not in a little pond. I figured either the live fish would find a way off the hook or I would just miss the hit from a larger fish. Well today while fishing I caught a crawfish, mystery solved. I now realized that it was probably the crawfish that were stealing my live bluegills off of the hook. It never even crossed my mind that there were crawfish in this pond.

use hot dog
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
