Hunter 2 Raritan Bay 6,30,13

After a late night gig with the band, Cashin and I pull out of Keyport at 10:30am geared up for Fluke.  Big pods of Bunker were around so we snagged a bunch and livelined some to see if any Bass were around.  The rain moved in for ten minutes to cool us off.  No takers on the Bunker so we decided to make a move and anchor and chunk some heads by Old orchard rocklpile. Around 12:30 we were setup and the weather alert goes off on the vhf with strong storms approaching , lightning, 30mph winds.  We played it safe and went home.  We will be out evenings this week.   Good Luck! t^    Eddie

TT^ Ton of bait in the water no doubt! I was looking for you but didn't see ya.  :-\ Wont be out during the week this week; if I don't get the lawn cut I never will  hhppy We are also having a big party at the marina Wed then Thurs. is the 4th, I try to stay off the water that day.
