Sunday Manasquan Inlet
« on: July 01, 2013, 11:34:35 AM »
Had the chance to get out on the water yesterday early morning at the Manasquan Inlet.

We fished the last couple hours on the drop tide....I did see a lot of very small Fluke being caught..... Good to see a good number of yaks on the water.

I was able to hook up with some shorts....But for me its just being on the water.

The areas I fish are the ones you said where a wast of time

I was watching the kayaks drift the area from a bar stool at the wharfside patio bar yesterday afternoon. They started to get more and more blurry as the day went on though  chrz ;D

It was a much slower day in the inlet Sunday.
Friday we had a few fish and saw a steady pick by others.  One guy landed a 6.25lb fluke from the wall.
But Sunday was pretty dead.  Only saw a few small fish come over the wall.

Cool beans!!! I agree...nice to just be out and both days ended up being great! Part of my trip on Sunday, I fished a lil in by the bug light and there were at least 1/2 doz yackers fishing! Nice set up's too from what I could see! TT^ My brother commented with questions like 'how do they do that', 'where do they keep the fish', 'I think that's really cool' and so on. I was proud ( ;D ) to be able to answer him from learning what little I have from you so far. ;D

Dave sounds like you had a great time on the water. As always any time on the water is a great time.

Keep the good new up.
