7/5 IBSP surf fishing

Hit Betty and Nicks for some clams at 5AM and on the beach set up by 5:30. Within moments had the first hits as the sun broke over the ocean..set the hook..too bad it was a skate! Used several clams over the next few hours but couldn't manage a hook up. Great day to be out there until the wind shifted to the West and the black flies started swarming and attacking!
