What are your Personal Weather Minimums??
« on: July 21, 2013, 07:13:03 PM »
What are you personal weather minimums (absolute worst conditions that you would boat in) when planning your midshore to offshore trip? Try to include sea height, wind speed/direction, etc. If would be helpful if you include the size of your boat.

Fred, fishing the "Kristy Marie" from Manasquan River Club. Channels 16/67/68.

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

21' WA 120gal fuel tank, full surrounding curtains.

Worst I'd be willing to run is 2-3' @ 6 seconds, and 13-15knts "if" it was supposed to calm down at some point in the day,,, and I would never trust the winds from the NE to be calm.

And to run in those conditions, it had better be catching like we've had this prior week, wouldn't make the run on a hunch.
All your tuna's are belong to me
